N.O.I.S.E stands for New Objectives in Sound Exploration. They were an online internet group involved in the demoscene between the years 1995-2002. Much of the music they put out was electronic in nature, however it also spanned numerous genres and wavescapes.

I have recently contacted shawnm, one of the ex-maintainers and artists in NOISE, and he has given me the authority to put the archives here on the web within limits of a Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial No-Derivatives license, or more specifically, within the realms of their own distribution, PLEASE READ:

N.O.I.S.E. music is not freeware. You are allowed to copy our music files without restrictions for non-commercial use, provided that the included .nfo files are included without modifications. No payment of any kind may be charged for these productions or any combination of products or services including these productions without N.O.I.S.E. authorization and official written license. I have taken the liberty of converting all of the S3M/MOD/IT files to mp3 for your listening pleasure. I've also included the original files for anyone who is interested. The id3 tags have been updated with all of the information I could possibly cram into them.
